Opening: Saturdays 8am – 4pm

With 15 – 20 stalls on Saturdays there is lots of choice for all your weekly requirements.

Stalls currently offer fresh fish, fresh meat, bread, deli foods, cheeses, nuts, biscuits,  cakes, plants, pet food, plants, toiletries, shoes, handbags, books, lampshades, soft furnishings, sweets, cut flowers and of course, fruit and veg.

The stall holders are helpful and friendly and the atmosphere is lovely.

Quality local food supplied by local producers at value prices.

The Market Square bustles at weekends. Good food is clearly important here, judging by the organic bread and quality cheese, meat and fish on offer. There are also outstanding cafes and restaurants nearby.

Opening Wednesdays and Fridays 8am – 12noon Fish Stall

Opening: Thursdays 8am – 3pm Plants, Fruit and Veg Stall

Country Markets are co-operative enterprises selling a range of baked goods, preserves, eggs and honey, garden produce and crafts in over 450 outlets. All goods are produced to the highest standards and are genuinely home made. A regular Saturday country market selling home-made cakes and jams, free range eggs, honey and vegetables.
