Leaves of Southwell Open Day

A special Open Day which will offer an opportunity to hear more about the Heritage Lottery Fund project to reinterpret and better present the Minster’s famous medieval Leaves of Southwell carvings. The project will also include improvements to the lighting in the Chapter House and re-reroofing of the eastern end of the building. The scheme is being led by Canon Nigel Coates and Charles Leggatt who was responsible for the Archbishop’s Palace project also supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.…

Handel’s Messiah

A complete performance of Handel’s Messiah. Starting at 3:30pm we will perform Part 1, and then have a break for food, and then parts 2 and 3 will follow at 7:30pm. There will be flexible ticketing so that the audience can mix and match parts of the day with an opportunity to have a meal during the extended interval. Sonrisa – Latin Flavours Music
